Message The problem: timing mark is really off and changing on its own, but engine seem to runs fine.
I was told to count the teeth on the belt so I went ahead and remove the upper time belt covers and the crank pulley so that I could remove the lower cover . Another problem, I can't get the crank bolt off, so hard I have used 900 ft-bls impact wrench , I also have used muscle and breaker bar , put the car in 5th gear and applied parking brake, didn't work either . So I was wondering why it got so hard since the engine only has been fired up a few times.
Here is my though : maybe when installing the pulley I accidentally knocked off the woodruff key and so when the engine runs it causes the pulley to turn and that would change the timing mark, and the crank bolt become more tighten. Anyway I stopped trying to loosen up the bolt for a moment and turned the engine to lined up all 4 cams sprocket to the mark on the back cover assuming that the crank sprocket line up too that would put engine 1 at TDC, the count is correct , it is 24-45-24, can't count from the exhaust cam to the crank yet until I can get loose that stubborn crank bolt. Any tips or though , and thanks for your help!!!
